– Explore the quintessential culinary secrets and food traditions of India
for health, immunity and wellness

Taught by Smt. Rekha Divekar and Dr. Nutan Pakhare
(Co-organised by Breathe Foundation India)

4th and 5th September 2020

Indian and Western medical practices may have had their differences, but both have strongly advocated the importance of a healthy diet in a man’s life.

Ancient knowledge states that the body is made up of 5 elements (Panchamahabhuta) i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. And that Earth, Water, and Fire is absorbed by the food we consume. Satva, rajas or tamas mental attitude is also depends on the food he consumes.

Ayurveda has amalgamated itself with Indian cuisine, in a way that most of the ayurvedic medicines or medicinal components are found in the kitchen itself. Today we know these components as Spices, Be it turmeric, ginger, clove, paper, cinnamon, we have them all.

Join the Food And Wisdom under the guidance of Smt. Rekha Divekar And Dr, Nutan Pakhare as they take us through this journey of Indian food wisdom.
